Description
The "Deadend Alleyway" features seven  complete structures (which means you can split the scene up and use the buildings independently on your layout if needed), full color signs, plastic doors and windows, beautifully detailed hydrocal castings, a huge bag of detail castings (boxes/crate stacks etc), cobblestone streets, brick side-walks, precut Evergreen Sytrene for the roofs, tar paper and rusted corrugated material from Paper Creek.The diorama, as shown here, measures 2' x 2'.The actual building footprint is 19" x 22", although you will be able to make adjustments by placing the structures in different arrangements. Remember, all seven buildings are complete kits, so you can build the scene as shown, split the buildings up or just completely rearrange them if you like. Vehicles and figures not included.
Construction Method
Cast Hydrocal plaster walls, plastic door & windows and full color paper signs and awnings.
Construction Time
Modelers of average skill should be able to finish this kit in 2 or 3 evenings. Easy to understand step by step instructions are provided to walk you through each step of construction, from gluing the kit together to final painting and aging.
Tools Required
Hobby knife, sanding block, 5 minute epoxy, super glue, paint brushes.
Finishing
Flat white spray paint (to seal the  castings) and water based artists acrylics.
